Question 1

What does an uptime check do?

Accepted Answer

An uptime check requests the website address saved for your site. A successful response is recorded as Up; a failed request or unsuccessful response is recorded as Down. When a site is down, PagePicket saves a downtime issue in your workspace.

Question 2

How are broken links checked?

Accepted Answer

A broken-link scan starts with the page URLs you entered in site setup, then checks the HTTP and HTTPS links found on those pages. The scan can be marked incomplete if a saved page cannot be checked, so it does not promise a complete picture of every page on a site.

Question 3

Can I review saved check results?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your site details keep the latest uptime status, the last broken-link scan result and time, and saved issue records with their check times. Open a site in your workspace to review its monitoring history.

Question 4

What is needed before a contact-form check can run?

Accepted Answer

Add the contact form URL and at least one test field name and value. Confirm that you are authorized to use those values, then separately authorize a verification submission. Saving setup only stores it; it does not send a submission. A check cannot run unless the URL and values are valid and both authorizations are saved.

Question 5

Is PagePicket in beta?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PagePicket is currently in beta.
